Marina Schacherl – Lisenced Tour Guide.

My mother had been working as a tour guide her entire life including the time when she was pregnant with me. Thus I had my first experience before I was born, so I could absorb the love for tourism literally with mother’s milk. That is why I had no doubts when choosing profession.

I have graduated from the University with degree of philology. Then completed a huge number of training courses for guides. My last place of education was Vienna, where I completed 4 semesters in the Economic Promotion and Development Institute. Member of Association of licensed guides of Vienna and Lower Austria. 28 years of tour guide experience.

I’m probably the worst tourist in the world! I listen only for the first 5 minutes, then I get bored … Therefore, the good tour criterion for me is an attention of my guests. This is a quality assurance as well as a main compliment to me!
